In June 2025 I’ve spent a few days at a friend’s house in Colares. I’ve taken some time before leaving to organise ideas, paper and materials, preparing to spend about a week on my own and make of this time time an opportunity for a ´self organised residency´—also considering a few unsuccessful attempts to get into funded residencies this summer.

My time there was really productive, the silence, the beauty of the surroundings, and the uplifting company of the animals. I did underestimate how changing the weather can be in that area and had quite a few challenges with timing the exposure, so I decided to focus on cyanotype printing, and experimentation with toning as well as creating cyanotypes in the ocean.
